- Yup, although hopefully they won't retrain since retrains take
- several seconds and are somewhat proned to failure (dropped connections).
- The modems should first try a rate renegotiate, which is MUCH faster then
- retraining (actually, it's done over the auxillary channel if you're running
- the 33.6 code, or at least it's supposed to be, which means you shouldn't
- notice any delay at all). Now, of course, you're line must support these
- speeds. If you're stuck at 21600 it may be that you're bandwidth is
- limiting you to the use of the 2400 symbol rate.
